Outside, it was pouring with rain. That was how a crime novel by a journalist who occasionally appeared on television began. As if it could somehow have been pouring with rain indoors. I won’t name him, since he has passed away, but it amused me. Luckily, I had already read that particular display of intellectual strain; otherwise, I might have begun this report by saying it was hot outside.

Rugby Club Gura Humorului has taken another important step in the development of the sporting project built over the past years. Suceava County Council has reaffirmed its support for our club by signing a new funding agreement, helping ensure our participation in national competitions while supporting the continued development of projects dedicated to our community.

From 3 to 5 July 2026, Gura Humorului will once again welcome one of Romania's most important youth rugby events, the "Brândușa Andronic" Moldova Trophy. Hosted at Stadionul Tineretului, the tournament represents the fourth stage of the Romanian National Mini Rugby Circuit, bringing together young players from across the country for a weekend dedicated to competition, friendship and the core values of rugby.
